Morocco — Transport & Getting Around
Al Boraq high-speed rail links Tangier–Kenitra–Rabat–Casablanca (Tangier to Casa ~2h10, MAD 224 second class); ONCF regular trains cover the rest of the north. Petits taxis are colour-coded by city (red Casablanca, beige Marrakech, blue Rabat) and are metered in principle — insist on the meter or agree a price first. Grands taxis (usually old Mercedes) run shared inter-city routes.
Uber and Careem pulled out; Heetch, inDrive and Yassir operate in Casablanca, Rabat and Marrakech with 30–50% lower fares than street taxis. Casablanca Mohammed V (CMN) has the Al Bidaoui commuter train to Casa-Voyageurs (~MAD 43, 40 min). Marrakech Menara (RAK) has no rail — bus 19 or airport taxi (fixed MAD 100 day/150 night).
