Belgium — Transport & Getting Around

Brussels STIB/MIVB metro, tram and bus run on a single Brupass ticket (around €2.60 contactless, 10-journey card cheaper per ride). SNCB intercity trains link Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges and Liège in 30–60 minutes for €8–15. The Brussels Airport Express reaches Zaventem in about 17 minutes (roughly €12–16 with the Diabolo surcharge). Charleroi Airport uses the Flibco/TEC shuttle bus to Brussels-Midi (roughly €17, one hour).

Bolt and Heetch operate in Brussels and Antwerp; Uber is present but limited by regulation. Regional buses are De Lijn in Flanders and TEC in Wallonia. Domestic flights are effectively non-existent — rail is faster.
