Antwerp — Schipperskwartier (Vingerlingstraat, Verversrui, Falconrui and the multi-storey Villa Tinto complex) is Belgium's best-known window district, zoned and regulated by the city since 2000. Brussels — Rue d'Aerschot / Aarschotstraat, running alongside Gare du Nord, is the traditional window strip; the Alhambra quarter historically held bars and clubs. Liège — the Cathédrale Nord area around Rue Varin has long-standing window activity. Ghent — the small Glazen Straatje near the old harbour retains a handful of licensed windows.
