Police-sting ads on bigcity boards
Post-FOSTA-SESTA, police place fake escort ads, intercept buyers at meeting points. Las Vegas, Chicago, Atlanta have the most operations.
Mitigation: Ads that seem too good to be true (low rate, very fast booking, vague location) frequently are stings.
Outcall "girlfriend experience" trap
Hotel-room phone-book and taxi-rec "outcalls" come with hidden fees, upsells; many are illegal stings or extortion setups.
Mitigation: If you want legal sex work in Nevada, drive 60min outside Vegas/Reno to a licensed brothel.
Massage-parlour blackmail
Some establishments record encounters; reported across multiple states.
Mitigation: Established named directories (Tryst, P411) with verifiable provider history; not random street-front "spas".
