UK, Irish, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and most Schengen nationals enter visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180. US, Canadian, and Australian passport holders need an e-visa via evisa.gov.tr (~USD 50, issued in minutes) for stays up to 90 days. Passports must be valid 150 days beyond entry with a blank page.

Istanbul Airport (IST) on the European side is the main hub; Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) on the Asian side handles low-cost carriers. Antalya (AYT), İzmir Adnan Menderes (ADB), and Ankara Esenboğa (ESB) are the other principal gateways. Expect biometric passport gates and occasional secondary questioning for solo male travellers.
