Serbia — Visa & Airports

Serbia is not in the EU or Schengen: US, UK, EU, Canadian and Australian passports get 90 days visa-free on a separate clock, which is why the country is popular with travellers resetting their Schengen allowance. One rule catches tourists constantly — all foreigners must be registered with the police within 24 hours of arrival. Hotels do it automatically (keep the white registration slip, the beli karton), but in a private apartment you or your host must register at a police station, and missing paperwork can mean fines at exit.

Belgrade Nikola Tesla (BEG) is the hub, home to Air Serbia with wide European, Russian and Chinese connectivity; Niš (INI) handles a few low-cost routes.
