Panama City — sex work by registered adults is legal, and the scene sorts by district: El Cangrejo around Vía Veneto is the traditional hotel-casino zone where independents work the casino floors and adjacent bars; the Calle Uruguay strip in Bella Vista and the Calle 50/Marbella area host the licensed gentlemen's clubs; Casco Viejo is upscale regular nightlife with street hustle at its edges late at night. Apartment- and app-based providers cover the banking-district hotels.

Colón has an old red-light reputation but serious street crime — most visitors should not go. Bocas del Toro and David have backpacker and local nightlife, not an organized adult scene.
