Kenya — Visa & Airports
Kenya abolished visas in January 2024 and replaced them with an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA): apply online at the official government portal at least three days before travel, pay roughly USD 30-35, and carry the approval. Nearly all nationalities including US, UK and EU need it. A yellow fever certificate is required if arriving from an endemic country. NBO's Terminal 1A handles most international arrivals; SIM cards (get Safaricom for M-Pesa) and ATMs are available landside.
