Fiji — Neighborhoods

Nadi — the Martintar strip between town and the airport carries the bars and small clubs. Suva — downtown around Victoria Parade has the country's real nightlife, going late on weekends. Denarau — gated resort island, self-contained hotel bars. Sex work is illegal throughout: the Crimes Act 2009 (sections 230–233) criminalizes selling, buying, soliciting and brothel-keeping, so both parties commit offences. A street-based scene exists around the Suva and Nadi nightlife areas and police run periodic operations against it — the legal risk sits with the client as much as the worker. Resort tourism is functionally separate from all of this; most visitors never see it.
