Egypt — Visa & Airports

US, UK, EU, Canadian, Australian and NZ passport holders can get a 30-day single-entry tourist visa on arrival at major airports for USD 25 cash, or apply online in advance via the official e-visa portal (visa2egypt.gov.eg) for the same fee. Passports need six months' validity. A separate free "Sinai-only" entry stamp is available at Sharm el-Sheikh, Taba and St Catherine for stays up to 15 days confined to the South Sinai coast.

Cairo International (CAI) is the main hub — Terminal 3 for EgyptAir and Star Alliance, Terminal 2 for most other international carriers. Hurghada (HRG), Sharm el-Sheikh (SSH), Luxor (LXR) and Borg El Arab (HBE, Alexandria) handle charters and regional flights.
