Egypt — Neighborhoods
Cairo — Downtown (Wust el-Balad) around Talaat Harb has the old cabaret-era bars and budget hotels; Zamalek on Gezira Island is the leafy expat quarter with restaurants and hotel bars; Mohandessin and parts of Agouza hold the loud shaabi-style nightclubs on Al-Haram (Pyramids Road). Garden City clusters embassies and quieter five-stars.
Hurghada — Sakkala and Sheraton Road are the tourist corridor; El Gouna to the north is the gated resort enclave. Sharm el-Sheikh — Naama Bay is the walkable bar-and-hotel strip, with Hadaba and Soho Square as newer alternatives. Alexandria — the Corniche between Raml Station and San Stefano is where nightlife concentrates.
