Croatia — Visa & Airports

Croatia is in the EU, Schengen (since January 2023) and the eurozone. US, UK, Canadian and Australian passports get the standard 90/180 Schengen allowance; EES biometric registration applies at first entry, and overstays are flagged at exit and can carry entry bans.

Zagreb (ZAG) is the year-round hub; Split (SPU) and Dubrovnik (DBV) run enormous seasonal schedules from April to October, plus Zadar and Pula on low-cost routes. Summer arrivals at SPU and DBV face long immigration queues — allow time for connections.
