Santiago's Metro (seven lines, CLP 700–830 depending on time band) is the fastest way across the capital and integrates with buses via the Bip! prepaid card. Uber, Cabify and DiDi all operate; ride-hailing was formalised under Law 21.431 (2022) and is generally cheaper than street taxis, which are metered but often refuse cards.

Aeropuerto Arturo Merino Benítez (SCL) sits 15 km west of the centre; the Centropuerto and TurBus Aeropuerto shuttle services run to Pajaritos metro and Terminal Alameda. Domestic flights on LATAM, SKY Airline and JetSmart connect Santiago to Iquique, Antofagasta, Concepción and Punta Arenas.
