andorra — Transport & Getting Around

Andorra has no airport or railway, so nearly all visitors arrive by road through Spain or France. The usual gateways are Barcelona-El Prat and Toulouse-Blagnac, with scheduled coach transfers to Andorra la Vella taking about three to four hours depending on border and mountain weather. Inside the country, buses connect Andorra la Vella, Escaldes-Engordany, Encamp, Ordino and the ski valleys; taxis are reliable but limited late at night.

Winter snow can slow the CG-2 and mountain passes, so allow extra time for airport departures and check road conditions before crossing toward France.
