Andorra uses the euro despite not being an EU member. Cards and contactless payments are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, ski areas and shopping centres, but carrying some cash is useful for buses, small cafes and taxis. ATMs are common in Andorra la Vella and resort towns; your own bank's foreign withdrawal fees matter more than local availability.

The low-tax shopping model means customs limits matter more than exchange rates. Tobacco, alcohol, perfume and electronics purchases can trigger checks at the Spanish or French border if quantities look commercial.
