New Zealand — Visa & Airports

US, UK, EU, Canadian and Australian passport holders don't need a visitor visa but must hold an NZeTA before boarding (NZD 17 online / NZD 23 in-app) plus pay the International Visitor Levy of NZD 100. It grants stays up to 90 days (UK: 6 months). Australians enter freely under the Trans-Tasman arrangement.

Auckland (AKL) is the main long-haul gateway; Christchurch (CHC) handles South Island international arrivals; Wellington (WLG) and Queenstown (ZQN) are largely trans-Tasman and domestic. Biosecurity declarations are strictly enforced — declare all food, outdoor gear and medication.
