Budapest metro (4 lines) cheap (HUF 450). Trams excellent. Bolt dominant for taxis; avoid street taxis (notorious tourist overcharge). Főtaxi and 6×6 are reliable taxi services.

Budapest Liszt Ferenc (BUD) to centre: 100E shuttle bus (HUF 2,200) or Bolt (~HUF 8,000–10,000). Vienna by Railjet 2.5 h.
