Germany — Legal Help

Sex work fully legal and regulated. Workers must register (Anmeldung) and have insurance. Foreigner clients have full legal protection in registered venues. For non-registered street work, complaints to police OK but workers may be deported if undocumented.

Drug laws: cannabis possession decriminalised 2024 (up to 25g); harder drugs still criminalised. AOC 14 (with safeguards above 16); SW minimum 18.

Embassies & consular help

If you are detained, ask police to notify your embassy — they can provide a lawyer list and consular visits, but cannot pay fees or intervene in the case.
