US, UK, EU, Canadian and Australian passports get 90 days visa-free on arrival, extendable once for a further 90 days for a fee at a migration office; passports need six months' validity. Galápagos trips add a separate US 0 transit control card and a US 00 national-park fee (doubled from US 00 in August 2024).

Mariscal Sucre (UIO) outside Quito and José Joaquín de Olmedo (GYE) in Guayaquil are the two international gateways, with direct flights to US hubs, Madrid and Amsterdam. Domestic connections and the Galápagos route via both.
