Denmark — Neighborhoods

Copenhagen — Vesterbro, immediately behind Central Station, is the historic red-light strip; Istedgade and the surrounding blocks have long hosted street-based sex work alongside gentrified bars, cafés, and hotels. The area is mixed-use and well-policed rather than segregated. Nørrebro and Vesterbro also concentrate the nightlife bar scene; Strøget and Nyhavn are tourist-facing rather than adult-oriented.

Aarhus — Denmark's second city has a smaller, more diffuse scene centred on the harbour and Latin Quarter nightlife rather than a defined district. Odense and Aalborg have limited, mostly online-advertised activity with no established street corridor.
