Selling sex is legal in Denmark and has been decriminalised since 1999, but organising, pimping, and running brothels remain criminal under the Penal Code (Straffeloven §228–§233). The age of consent is 15, and this is also the minimum age for legal sex work. Buying sex from anyone under 18 is a specific criminal offence. If detained, you have the right to notify your embassy and to a Danish state-appointed defence lawyer (forsvarer); consular staff can supply lawyer lists but cannot pay fees or intervene in the case.

Drug laws are strict under the Euphoriants Act (Lov om euforiserende stoffer): personal possession of cannabis, MDMA, and cocaine carries fines or prison, and the Christiania Pusher Street cannabis market was dismantled in the mid-2020s.
