Word of caution — watch out for taxi scams at the airport. Other than that, great destination.

Scandinavia trip report — 12 days
Arrived and got settled quickly. Train from the airport was simple. Hotel was clean and central.
Days 1-2: Explored, got the lay of the land. Got some good intel from a local.
Days 3-3: Quality improved once I knew where to look. Found my rhythm. The local area away from tourists area was the sweet spot.
Prices: $30-60 range. Some room to negotiate.
Tips: Bring cash in small bills.
Return? 100% — saving up already.

Hmm, different experience for me. Prices were about the same when I went.

This info might be outdated. Things changed since new regulations. Prices are higher now.

Solid 7.5/10 destination in my experience too.

Good info. I'd add that midweek is the best time to go.

How long to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

I was there in recently and prices were slightly higher. Spent about ${pick(["50","80","100","120","150"])}/day all-in.
My tip: Book hotels close to the scene.

Quick question — how was the airport transfer?

Spot on with the prices. Matches what I paid recently.
