How does it compare to Mexico?

Uruguay trip report — 12 days

Arrived and got settled quickly. Train from the airport was simple. Hotel was surprisingly nice for the price.

Days 1-2: Explored, got the lay of the land. Prices seemed fair.

Days 3-10: Found my favorite spots. Found my rhythm. The downtown area was the sweet spot.

Prices: $50-80 per session. Pay asking price — it's fair.

Tips: Bring cash in small bills.

Return? Yes, maybe try a different area.

I was there in January and prices were slightly higher. Spent about ${pick(["50","80","100","120","150"])}/day all-in.

My tip: Be respectful and tip well.

This info might be outdated. Things changed since new regulations. Prices are higher now.

First time there was good but could've been better. Second time I knew the ropes and it was so much more efficient. Like most places, experience makes all the difference.
