Ecuador — best time of year to go

Ecuador trip report — 12 days

Arrived and got settled quickly. Had a driver arranged. Hotel was clean and central.

Days 1-2: Explored, got the lay of the land. Prices seemed fair.

Days 3-12: Quality improved once I knew where to look. Found my rhythm. The local area away from tourists area was the sweet spot.

Prices: $30-60 range. Prices are pretty fixed.

Tips: Bring cash in small bills.
