Kenya trip report — 12 days
Arrived and got settled quickly. Train from the airport was simple. Hotel was surprisingly nice for the price.
Days 1-2: Explored, got the lay of the land. Got some good intel from a local.
Days 3-7: Quality improved once I knew where to look. Found my rhythm. The local area away from tourists area was the sweet spot.
Prices: $80-120 for quality. Prices are pretty fixed.
Tips: Don't flash money.
Return? Absolutely — already planning next trip.

Adding my experience: scene has stayed the same since pre-COVID. Biggest change: more online activity.

Any daytime restaurant recommendations?
