Bahrain trip report — 5 days
Arrived and got settled quickly. Had a driver arranged. Hotel was exactly what I needed.
Days 1-2: Explored, got the lay of the land. Took a day to figure things out.
Days 3-12: Hit my stride. Found my rhythm. The main strip area was the sweet spot.
Prices: $80-120 for quality. Some room to negotiate.
Tips: Book hotels close to the scene.
Return? Yes, maybe try a different area.

With respect, my experience was more mixed. Maybe timing matters.

Good info. I'd add that the afternoon is the best time to go.

Also recommend downloading Google Translate before you go. Essential.

Not sure I agree about that area. Found the outskirts better value.

First time there was good but could've been better. Second time I knew the ropes and it was 10x smoother. Like most places, experience makes all the difference.
