Been thinking about visiting Photo Gallery and wanted to get the latest intel from those who've been recently.
Specifically interested in:
1. Current price ranges
2. Best areas to base yourself
3. Any safety concerns
4. How's the quality compared to Colombia?
Any recent trip reports would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try negotiating next time.

I'd also recommend downloading Grab before you go. Essential.

I was there in March and prices were slightly higher.
Spent about $125/day all-in. Quality was above average.
My tip: avoid weekends.
