Safety info for Safety & Police:

General: Felt safe with common sense.
Watch Out: Pickpocketing in crowded bars.

Been going for years. The scene has shifted a bit but still good.

Not sure I agree about that area. I found a different part to be better value.

I'd rate it similarly. Solid 8/10 destination.

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try negotiating next time.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

I was there in March and prices were slightly higher.

Spent about $149/day all-in. Quality was excellent.

My tip: the late night crowd is different.

I was there in March and prices were great value.

Spent about $100/day all-in. Quality was excellent.

My tip: go early evening for best selection.

With respect, my experience was more mixed. But maybe I went at the wrong time.
