Visited Cali for 7 days. Solid experience. Scene is improved. Pricing excellent value.

Spent $99/day. Best part: variety.

Overall: 8.5/10. Would return.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

Not sure I agree about that area. I found a different part to be better value.

Hmm, I had a different experience. Prices were higher when I went. Maybe timing matters.

Did you feel safe walking around at night?

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

Been going for years. The scene has shifted a bit but still good.
