Returned from 7 days in Ecuador.

Accommodation:
Guest house near the action. $49/night.

Scene:
Quieter but worthwhile. Negotiation possible.

Highlights:
Hidden gem bar found.

Overall: 8.5/10 - Exceeded expectations.

I was there in March and prices were exactly as described.

Spent about $85/day all-in. Quality was above average.

My tip: the late night crowd is different.
