Planning first trip to Bahamas. Need advice on:
1. Best area to stay
2. Daily budget
3. Safety concerns
4. Online vs in person?
5. Duration - thinking 10 days

Tips appreciated.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

With respect, my experience was more mixed. But maybe I went at the wrong time.

I was there in March and prices were exactly as described.

Spent about $93/day all-in. Quality was above average.

My tip: the late night crowd is different.

Quick question — how was the Uber availability?

This is outdated info IMO. Things have changed since last year. Current prices are actually lower than what's described here.

I was there in February and prices were exactly as described.

Spent about $85/day all-in. Quality was excellent.

My tip: the late night crowd is different.

Not sure I agree about that area. I found the outskirts to be better value.
