Kenya trip report — 12 days

Arrived and got settled quickly. Train from the airport was simple. Hotel was surprisingly nice for the price.

Days 1-2: Explored, got the lay of the land. Found the local spots quickly.

Days 3-5: Hit my stride. Found my rhythm. The local area away from tourists area was the sweet spot.

Prices: $80-120 for quality. Some room to negotiate.

Tips: Book hotels close to the scene.
