How does it compare to Brazil?

Quick question for Canada regulars — anything changed recently?
Was there in 2024 and had a great time but heard things are quieter.
Worth going back or try somewhere new?
Cheers

Not sure I agree about that area. Found the quieter streets better value.

First time there was overwhelming but exciting. Second time I knew the ropes and it was 10x smoother. Like most places, experience makes all the difference.

Can anyone comment on the payment methods accepted? Planning to go next month.

Good info. I'd add that early evening is the best time to go.
