South Korea trip report — 10 days, detailed breakdown

Returned from South Korea last week. 5 days trip, visited February 2026.

Arrival and first impressions: Easy to get around. Checked into my hotel near undefined.

Day 1-2: Explored the area, got the lay of the land. Found the local spots quickly.

Days 3-5: Had some incredible experiences. The undefined area was buzzing.

Prices: In line with expectations. Didn't negotiate much.

Tips for others: Don't flash money around.

Would I go back? Definitely, this is now in my regular rotation.

Not sure I agree about the area recommendation. I found a different neighborhood to be better.

I had a bad experience there last year. Maybe I went at the wrong time?

I was there in January and can add some detail:

Prices: Exactly as described. I spent about $50/day on the hobby side.

Girls: Mix of local and working girls from other regions. Quality was above average.

My favorite spot was a small bar off the main strip.

One tip: Weekdays are quieter and better.

How's the nightlife there compared to Colombia?

Things are much the same as always since my last visit in pre-COVID.

Biggest change: Better quality overall.

Still a great destination. One of my top 3 worldwide.
