Returned from Bangkok last week. 2 weeks trip, visited February 2026.
Arrival and first impressions: Easy to get around. Checked into my hotel near Sukhumvit.
Day 1-2: Explored the area, got the lay of the land. Noticed some tourist markups.
Days 3-5: Found my favorite spots. The Sukhumvit area was buzzing.
Prices: 1500-3000 THB ST, 4000-6000 LT. Pay the asking price — it's fair.
Tips for others: Bring cash.
Would I go back? 100% — already saving for the next trip.

Interesting report but I think you may have overpaid. Next time try going during the week.

Adding to this thread with my own experience from February:
I noticed some changes since my last visit in 2023.
Biggest change: Some of the old spots have closed.
Still a great destination. One of my top 3 worldwide.

Agreed on all points. One thing I'd add — make sure to get a local SIM.

Good info. I'd add that the evening is the best time to go.

Spot on with the prices. That's exactly what I paid when I visited in February.

Agreed on all points. One thing I'd add — make sure to download an offline map.

I was there in January and can add some detail:
Prices: Slightly higher than reported. I spent about $150/day on the hobby side.
Girls: Mostly locals. Quality was varied.
My favorite spot was a place recommended by another member here.
One tip: Go early in the evening for first pick.

I was there in January and can add some detail:
Prices: Good value overall. I spent about $50/day on the hobby side.
Girls: International mix. Quality was excellent.
My favorite spot was an agency I found online.
One tip: Avoid weekends if you want better prices.
