Just got back from Romania — trip report March 2026

Returned from Romania last week. 3 days trip, visited February 2026.

Arrival and first impressions: Had a driver arranged in advance. Checked into my hotel near undefined.

Day 1-2: Explored the area, got the lay of the land. Found the local spots quickly.

Days 3-5: Found my favorite spots. The undefined area was surprisingly quiet.

Prices: In line with expectations. Pay the asking price — it's fair.

Tips for others: Be respectful and you'll have a great time.

Would I go back? Yes, but maybe try a different area next time.
