Returned from 14 days in Netherlands. Mixed feelings but mostly positive.

Accommodation:
Mid-range Airbnb near the main area. $47/night. Good location, basic amenities.

Scene:
Better than expected — plenty of options. Prices were in line with forum reports.

Quality:
Better selection than last time. Had 4 encounters total.

Logistics:
Rented a motorbike for flexibility. Eating out was very affordable.

Safety:
Stick to main areas at night and you are fine.

Overall: 7.5/10. Solid choice, will be back.

Happy to answer any questions.

I was there in January and prices were about average. Spent about $150/day all-in.

My tip: avoid weekends.

What was your total spend roughly? Trying to budget for mine.

Also recommend downloading WhatsApp before you go. Essential.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

First time was a learning experience. Second time was 10x smoother. Experience makes all the difference.

Adding my experience: scene has improved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: more online activity.

Different experience for me. Prices were higher when I went.

Been there 12 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The consistency is what keeps me coming back.

My tip: go early evening.
