Has anyone been to Venezuela recently? Looking for the latest intel.

Specifically interested in:
- Current price ranges
- Best areas right now
- Any safety concerns to be aware of
- New venues worth checking out

I was there last year and had a decent time. Wondering if things have changed.

Any recent trip reports would be helpful.

Cheers

Adding my experience: scene has improved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: some old spots closed.

Also recommend downloading Google Translate before you go. Essential.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

I was there in last month and prices were about average. Spent about $100/day all-in.

My tip: try the local spots away from tourists.

Quick question — how was the ATM situation?

Word of caution — be careful with street touts. Other than that, great destination.

Did you use local sites or find girls at online?

I was there in February and prices were exactly as described. Spent about $150/day all-in.

My tip: midweek is much better.
