Just got back from Venezuela — trip report March 2026

Returned from 14 days in Venezuela. Mixed feelings but mostly positive.

Accommodation:
Mid-range Airbnb near the main area. $25/night. Good location, basic amenities.

Scene:
Quieter than I hoped but still good. Prices were in line with forum reports.

Quality:
Generally good looking with good service. Had 7 encounters total.

Logistics:
Transport was easy — Uber/Grab works well. Found great local restaurants.

Safety:
Stick to main areas at night and you are fine.

Overall: 9/10. Good destination, recommend for first-timers.
