Has anyone been to Trinidad & Tobago recently? Looking for the latest intel.

Specifically interested in:
- Current price ranges
- Best areas right now
- Any safety concerns to be aware of
- Transport tips

I was there a while back and had a good time. Wondering if things have changed.

Keen to hear from anyone who has been recently.

Cheers

Been there 12 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The consistency is what keeps me coming back.

First time was a learning experience. Second time was 10x smoother. Experience makes all the difference.

I was there in March and prices were exactly as described. Spent about $80/day all-in.

My tip: try the local spots away from tourists.

Also recommend downloading Google Translate before you go. Essential.

I was there in February and prices were about average. Spent about $150/day all-in.

My tip: midweek is much better.
