Visited Border Towns for 10 days. Great experience. Scene is quieter but worthwhile. Pricing excellent value.

Spent $101/day. Best part: ease of arranging.

Overall: 7.5/10. Would return.

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try going midweek next time.

How does it compare to the Philippines?

Been going for years. The scene has shifted a bit but still good.

What was your total spend roughly? Trying to budget for mine.

With respect, my experience was more mixed. But maybe I went at the wrong time.
