Has anyone been to Border Towns recently? Looking for the latest intel.
Specifically interested in:
- Current price ranges
- Best areas right now
- Any safety concerns to be aware of
- New venues worth checking out
I was there in 2024 and had a mixed time. Wondering if things have changed.
Keen to hear from anyone who has been recently.
Cheers

Spot on with the prices. Matches what I paid recently.

Great report, thanks for sharing. Had a similar experience there last month.

Been there 12 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The quality is what keeps me coming back.

Word of caution — some online profiles are fake. Other than that, great destination.

I was there in January and prices were great value. Spent about $50/day all-in.
My tip: try the local spots away from tourists.

Adding my experience: scene has improved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: better quality.

Word of caution — watch out for taxi scams at the airport. Other than that, great destination.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

I was there in February and prices were slightly higher. Spent about $120/day all-in.
My tip: midweek is much better.

Different experience for me. Prices were about the same when I went.

Did you use an agency or find girls at the hotel?
