Returned from 13 days in Central Mexico. Mixed feelings but mostly positive.
Accommodation:
Budget hotel near the main area. $53/night. Good location, basic amenities.
Scene:
Better than expected — plenty of options. Prices were great value.
Quality:
Better selection than last time. Had 6 encounters total.
Logistics:
Public transport is good enough. Eating out was very affordable.
Safety:
No issues at all.
Overall: 8/10. Solid choice, will be back.
Happy to answer any questions.

First time was a learning experience. Second time was so much more efficient. Experience makes all the difference.

I was there in February and prices were exactly as described. Spent about $100/day all-in.
My tip: avoid weekends.

Adding my experience: scene has bounced back since pre-COVID. Biggest change: prices up 15-20%.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

Quick question — how was the ATM situation?
