Returned from 7 days in Border Towns.

Accommodation:
Mid-range hotel near the action. $41/night.

Scene:
Quieter but worthwhile. Excellent value.

Highlights:
Great provider on day 3.

Overall: 7.5/10 - Exceeded expectations.

Happy to answer questions.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

I was there in February and prices were slightly higher.

Spent about $59/day all-in. Quality was above average.

My tip: the late night crowd is different.

I'd rate it similarly. Solid 9/10 destination.

Adding my experience from February.

The scene has stayed the same since pre-COVID. Biggest change: better quality overall.
