Planning my first trip to General Discussion. Read through the older threads but wanted to check if info is still current.

My main questions:
1. Best area to stay for easy access to the scene?
2. Realistic daily budget including accommodation?
3. Any areas to avoid?
4. How is the quality compared to Czech Republic?
5. Uber or taxi?

Coming from Australia with experience in Europe but first time in General Discussion.

Any recent reports or recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

Different experience for me. Prices were higher when I went.

Spot on with the prices. Matches what I paid recently.

I was there in March and prices were great value. Spent about $100/day all-in.

My tip: go early evening.

Did you use dating apps or find girls at the hotel?

Adding my experience: scene has improved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: prices up 15-20%.

I was there in January and prices were exactly as described. Spent about $100/day all-in.

My tip: midweek is much better.

Also recommend downloading Google Translate before you go. Essential.
