Returned from 11 days in Australia. Great trip overall.

Accommodation:
Serviced apartment near the main area. $77/night. Clean and central.

Scene:
Better than expected — plenty of options. Prices were great value.

Quality:
Generally good looking with good service. Had 8 encounters total.

Logistics:
Public transport is good enough. Eating out was very affordable.

Safety:
Stick to main areas at night and you are fine.

Overall: 7.5/10. Good destination, recommend for first-timers.

Happy to answer any questions.

First time was overwhelming but exciting. Second time was 10x smoother. Experience makes all the difference.

Quick question — how was the hotel security?

Good info. Going during the week is much better — less crowded and better prices.

I was there in January and prices were slightly higher. Spent about $100/day all-in.

My tip: go early evening.

Word of caution — be careful with street touts. Other than that, great destination.

Adding my experience: scene has bounced back since pre-COVID. Biggest change: prices up 15-20%.
