Current pricing for Australia:

Short Time: Budget $32-86, Mid $94-163, Premium $262+
Long Time/Overnight: $185-304
Massage with extras: $36-124

These are approximate ranges as of early 2026. Prices vary by area, provider quality, and negotiation. Locals pay significantly less.

Tipping is optional but earns you better service.

Best value: midweek afternoons.

Agreed on all points. Make sure to book hotels in advance.

Been there 10 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Adding my experience: scene has evolved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: better quality.

I was there in March and prices were great value. Spent about $100/day all-in.

My tip: try the local spots away from tourists.

Different experience for me. Prices were higher when I went.

I was there in last month and prices were about average. Spent about $150/day all-in.

My tip: avoid weekends.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?
