Best areas in Central Mexico:
Main Scene: Nightlife strip. Best concentration of venues. Busy but learnable.
Alternatives: Secondary area 15 min by taxi.
Hope this helps.

Adding my experience from 3 weeks ago.
The scene has changed a bit since pre-COVID. Biggest change: more competition.

Quick question — how was the Uber availability?

Been going for years. The scene has shifted a bit but still good.

I'd rate it similarly. Solid 7/10 destination.

I'd also recommend downloading Maps.me before you go. Essential.

With respect, my experience was more mixed. But maybe I went at the wrong time.
