Returned from 7 days in South Africa. Exceeded expectations.
Accommodation:
Guesthouse near the main area. $28/night. Good location, basic amenities.
Scene:
Busy and well-organized. Prices were in line with forum reports.
Quality:
Better selection than last time. Had 7 encounters total.
Logistics:
Rented a motorbike for flexibility. Found great local restaurants.
Safety:
Used common sense and had no problems.
Overall: 8.5/10. Would definitely return.
Happy to answer any questions.

Spot on with the prices. Matches what I paid recently.

Quick question — how was the hotel security?

Been there 5 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The value for money is what keeps me coming back.

What was your total spend roughly? Trying to budget for mine.

Good info. Going during the week is much better — less crowded and better prices.
