Back from Bangkok. Spent 5 days, here's the breakdown:

Accommodation: Guesthouse near the action. $57/night.

Scene: Better than expected.

Prices: On par with forum reports.

Highlights: Met an amazing girl on day 3 — spent 3 days together.

Overall: 8/10 — solid destination.

Ask me anything.

I'd also recommend downloading Google Translate before you go. Essential.

This is outdated info IMO. Things have changed since last year. Current prices are higher than what's described here.

Excellent write-up. This is why this forum is the best resource out there.

I was there in January and prices were exactly as described.

Spent about $137/day all-in. Quality was above average.

My tip: avoid weekends.

Spot on with the prices. That matches what I paid in February.
